HTML - HTML, an acronym of HyperText Markup Language, is the predominant markup language for Web Pages.

Javascript - JavaScript is a scripting language most often used for client-side web development.

XML - The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a general-purpose specification for creating custom markup languages.

.net - .net (network) is a generic top-level domain (gTLD) used on the Internet's Domain Name System.

php - PHP is a computer scripting language originally designed for producing dynamic web pages, it has evolved to include a command line interface capability and can be used in standalone graphical applications.

Macromedia - Macromedia was a North American graphics and Web development software house producing such products as Macromedia Flash, which was bought out in 2005 by Adobe.

Adobe - Adobe Systems is an American Software Company who have developed many products, and also develop old macromedia products.

Frontpage - Microsoft FrontPage is WYSIWYG HTML editor and web site administration tool from Microsoft for the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems.

Web 2.0 - Web 2.0 is a term describing changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to enhance creativity, information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web.

Navigation - In the World Wide Web and information systems the process of goal-directed locating and traversing hyperlinked information, browsing.

Web Accessibility - Web accessibility refers to the practice of making websites usable by people of all abilities and disabilities.

HCI - Human-computer interaction, the study of how people interact with computers.

Target Audience - In marketing and advertsing, a target audience, or target group is the primary group of people that something e.g. software is aimed at appealing to.

Web Layout - The layout of a Web page is usually what people think of when they think of Web design. If the layout is poor or doesn't work well, then customers won't like the site.

Web Colour - Web colors are colours used in designing web pages, and the methods for describing and specifying those colors.

Web Text - The way text looks on a site is very important, text should be legibile and hyperlinks etc should be appropriately highlighted.

Web Copyright - Copyright on the Web seems to be a difficult concept for people to understand. If you did not write or create the article, graphic, or data that you found, then you need permission from the owner before you can copy it.
